Anfa Day Trek
The Anfa Day Trek is a leisurely trek takes about four hours, and starts from the village of Asni, about a 1.5-hour drive from Marrakech. The trail works its way gradually uphill to Anfa at 1400m. The views back over the Alt Mizane valley are spectacular. You reach the village of Tagadirt in time for a picnic lunch and where you can visit a local Berber home for a mint tea. This was one of the filming locations for the film ‘The Man Who Would Be King.’ You then return back to the road, where your driver will be waiting to take you back to Marrakech. The Anfa Day Trek can also be completed if you are staying in Imlil, or nearby Kasbah Tamadot.
