The Annapurna Region is simply spectacular with one of the best Himalayan vistas you can find. The trekking on its foothills is ideal, as you don’t need to be walking at high altitude and you can glimpse into the wonderful local life, passing through traditional villages and verdant farmland right under the high Himalayan peaks above. There are some superb lodges here, and you can easily do a five night trek in relative comfort with en-suite bathrooms, excellent food and superb service. We provide private guides and sherpas, so you can trek at your own pace, stopping when you want. Beyond that, you have a selection of more basic tea houses, but we can send up proper bedding and little treats to add a little more deliciousness to the food they serve. The trekking again doesn’t need to be too challenging, and generally we suggest 3-4 hours a day with the afternoon free to relax or then do a further day walk. There are a few uphill sections, but we can make it as challenging or as easy-going as you like, just a good level of general fitness is required. For those wanting a longer trek, you can opt for the Annapurna Base Camp Trek that takes about 9 days. You can opt for an extension to Poon Hill, located above the village of Ghorepani. If you want an even longer and more adventurous trek then we can arrange treks to Jomsom, the Kali Gandaki Gorge, Manang, Muktinath, Mustang and the Manaslu Circuit.
