Begin with a morning chai at Sahu Chaiwalla before wandering through the flower market and seeing the vegetable market near Sanganeri Gate, followed by the milk bazaar in Sunhash Chowk. Continue to the 18th century Govind Dev Ji Temple to receive a blessing from the local priest before exploring the Jaipur City Palace and seeing the Hawa Mahal, or Palace of the Winds. You’ll then set off on a heritage walk through the remarkable artisan quarters of Jaipur. You’ll pass metal workers and jewellers, lac bangle makers, gem cutters, marble sculptors and miniature painters giving you a wonderful insight into the local way of life of Jaipur, behind the scenes. End at the Jantar Mantar Observatory, completed in the 18th century, and is an equinoctial sundial, capable of telling the time to an accuracy of two seconds.
