The Oberoi Rajvilas was constructed as a modern interpretation of a historic Indian palace. The huge gardens contain pools, fountains and little courtyards where you find the rooms; you just get so much space that makes for a lovely oasis after exploring the hustle and bustle of Jaipur by day.
The rooms are laid out in small clusters which all look into a central courtyard. The rooms are traditionally furnished, with something of a colonial feel about them. The Premier Rooms come with four-poster beds and have lovely en-suite bathrooms with an indulgent bathtub and separate shower. You can opt for a Luxury Tent, complete with private veranda, roll-top bath and sumptuous interiors. The Suites and Villas come with their own private pool, and even more space.
Both restaurants, Surya Mahal and Raj Mahal have both indoor and outdoor tables and offer both Indian and international cuisine. Rajvilas also has a huge pool (21 metres long), a superb spa and fitness centre.
