4×4 Berber Drive in the Atlas Mountains

A day trip into the Atlas Mountains in a 4×4 allows you to see more of the landscapes and scenery. You first visit Takerkoust Lake, just 30 minutes from Marrakech. Continue to the village of Ouarialt to meet a local family and visit a local educational centre set up by the British Moroccan Society. You dive up to the Kik Plateau, an area that sees almost no tourists. The road is stunning, and you will have lots of opportunities to stop and take photos. You reach the main road at Asni, before visiting the lush valleys of Ourigane and Marigha where you stop for lunch. The area is famous for its olive groves, and you can have the option of a leisurely walk through the countryside. It is one of the most off-the-beaten-track gems in Morocco.
