The desert of Wadi Rum has some of the most wonderful scenery in Jordan – and the views just go on and on. Located between Petra and the southern beaches of Aqaba, you can visit Wadi Rum as a short afternoon visit from Petra, or even better spend a night in one of the excellent desert camps. This allows you to fully appreciate the amazing sunsets that occur in Wadi Rum, as the rose-red desert glows before turning to darkness when the stars appear. The best way to explore Wadi Rum is on a 4×4, but we can offer walking routes through the desert and even a hot air balloon experience.
