The 1000 Nights Camp is a true Bedouin experience – located deep into the Wahiba Sands. The camp is located about 40 minutes into the heart of the desert. They have grown Cineraria trees to offer an element of shade throughout the camp.
We suggest staying in their new air-conditioned Ameer Tents. This is a fixed hut with a tented ceiling. They have en-suite bathrooms and private sit-out decks at the front and rear of the tent, and also your own fire-pit.
Dinner is usually delicious Arabic fare, with lovely salads and barbecued meats. This is followed by Arabic coffee and a shisha pipe should you so wish. Do note that alcohol is not available.
There is a small pool in which to cool off. We always suggest jumping on a camel to watch the sun dip below the horizon.
