Day on a houseboat

Nothing quite beats a gentle cruise on a traditional houseboat on Lake Vembenad and the backwaters around Alleppey and Kumarakom. You’ll see traditional villages on the banks, and passing boats going here and there. You’ll be served lunch on board, using local fish curry.
