Cycling in Delhi
Cycling through the backstreets and bustling alleyways of Delhi is a superb immersive experience that allows you to truly get under the skin of the city, and see it in such an unforgettable way. The tours depart very early in the morning, at 0630, just as the city is coming alive with day to day life and you’ll finish by 1000. The classic tour is to explore Shahjahanabad, taking you through the markets of Chandni Chowk, the spice markets and past the Red Fort and Jama Masjid and ending with a traditional breakfast at Karims. A twist on this is to head a little bit further off the beaten track on the Haveli tour, perfect for a second-time trip to India. Another option takes you down through the Lutyens’ designed New Delhi, seeing Connought Place, Parliament House and India Gate. A fourth option takes you through the Sufi district of Nizamuddin, and a fifth towards the Yumana River and visiting Raj Ghat. We can of course arrange these privately, and maybe combine two of them to give you a really superb and in depth experience.
