The Detail

Claridges has a great location in the heart of Delhi, a chic 1950s era hotel with a superb lawn and personalised service. Claridges is relatively small for a city hotel, with 140 rooms and suites, and has somewhat an glamorous ocean liner feel to it. It also doesn’t come with the hefty price-tag seen with other 5* hotels in Delhi, meaning it is perfect if you are looking for a comfortable, affordable and charming international hotel in a central location. The dining options are superb, with a range of outlets to suit any taste. Opt for all-day-dining Pickwicks for multi-cuisine, the Dhaba Restaurant which features traditional Indian roadside cuisine, Sevilla offering Mediterranean fare or Jade which serves up lovely Chinese food.  The rooms are nicely designed, with all the mod cons you would expect. Opt for the upgraded Claridges Room and get a lovely balcony overlooking the pool or gardens. There are also a range of suites, and interconnecting rooms for families. As well as a pool, Claridges has a spa offering a range of treatments.
