If you are concerned about lacking creature comforts when visiting the Omani desert, then look no further than Desert Nights Camp. It is quite simply the most comfortable desert camp in Oman. You will stay in large white air-conditioned tents, beautifully juxtaposed against the orange sands. Each tent is furnished in a local Bedouin style. The bedroom comes with a Queen-size bed (or twin beds), sitting area, attached shower room, and mini-bar. There are also a few two-bedroom tents for families.
Desert Nights Camp has a dining and recreation area, and cuisine is varied at ‘Two Dunes’ – although serving buffet-style meals. They can lay on a private barbecue set up in a stunning location. Drinks are available at The Oasis Bar.
Usually, we suggest a night at Desert Nights Camp. A second night means you can explore the more remote corners of Wahiba Sands. There are a variety of experiences on offer, from dune-bashing, sunset camel rides, quad biking, trekking, and sandboarding. We love star-gazing from the camp’s telescope.
