The rosewater that they produce are unique to the area, and are a result of centuries-old traditions. The rose terrace bloom during March and April and keep the villages working 24-hours a day to produce the lucrative rose water which is said to have healing properties. It is also sometimes used in cooking, such as halwa which is a sweet dessert. We generally suggest seeing this in the village of Sayq before doing the Four Village Walk.
