A Luxury Honeymoon to Bhutan & Thailand
Dhulikhel - Punakha - Paro - Bangkok - Koh Yao NoiBhutan and Thailand offers the perfect mix of amazing culture with an indulgent beach to end, perfect for a luxury honeymoon.
The Paro Cultural Walk is a perfect way to see the Paro Dzong, Ta Dzong (National Museum), the town, Kyichu Lhakhang and Drukgyel Dzong. Begin by walking to Ta Dzong, Bhutan’s National Museum before heading to Paro, or Rinpung Dzong. Cross the traditional bridge over the Paro Chhu River and past the main archery crowd, where you might well see a game in full flow. You then are met by a car and driven to Kyichu Lhakhang which is one of the most historic temples in Bhutan with a magical orange tree that bears fruit all year round. If you have time, you can head onto the ruins of Drukgyel Dzong, again walking through local villages and farmland to reach it. The walk takes about 5-7 hours and is not that strenuous. If you want to do this all in vehicle without the walking, this can easily be arranged.
We arrange totally bespoke trips and design an itinerary that is designed around you. You may have seen a suggested itinerary that we can base your plans around, or we can start with a blank sheet and paper and design something from scratch. You can leave a phone number and suggest a time to call you back, and we can also arrange to do this during the evenings or at weekends if you are busy during the daytime. We can also meet up with you in you fancy a coffee and are based in and around London.
