Dahabiya Cruise: Slowly Down the Nile
Cairo - Luxor - AswanSlow travel is all about taking it easy and by taking a Dahabiya, you can discover Egypt at a gentler, more refined way.
This privately guided walking tour through Khan el-Khalili Bazaar gives you a glimpse of bustling Cairo. It is the oldest and largest bazaar in Cairo, constructed in 1382. It became known as the Turkish Bazaar in the Ottoman period. The bazaar has attracted an array of people wanting to make a living including foreign merchants, Jews, Armenians, Persians and non-Egyptian Arabs. Today, the stalls sell gold, silver, exotic fabrics, antiques, gems, spices, perfume oils, carpets and leather goods. Stop for a coffee or lunch.
We arrange totally bespoke trips and design an itinerary that is designed around you. You may have seen a suggested itinerary that we can base your plans around, or we can start with a blank sheet and paper and design something from scratch. You can leave a phone number and suggest a time to call you back, and we can also arrange to do this during the evenings or at weekends if you are busy during the daytime. We can also meet up with you in you fancy a coffee and are based in and around London.
