Head off on private helicopter to see Mount Everest. We use modern Eurocopter AS350B helicopters and superb pilots, capable of reaching altitudes of 16,000ft. To make the most of the views, set off in the early morning overlflying the foothills such as Nagakot, Dolalghat, Charikot, Jiri, Lamjura, Jumbesi and land in the town of Lukla for refuelling. You then take off into the main Everest Region, passing over the dramatic town of Namche Bazaar, before making your way up the dramatic Gokyo Valley. The lake here is spectacular, but the main highlight quickly comes into view. As well as Everest appearing in front of you, see the peaks of Lhotse, Nupste, Thamserku, Ama Dablam and Cho Yu. Overfly Base Camp before returning back down the valley to the village of Kongde where you have breakfast. After a quick stop back in Lukla, you return to Kathmandu.
