The Sanctuary Nile Adventurer offers either a three-night cruise from Aswan to Luxor or a four-night cruise from Luxor to Aswan. The style of the ship is contemporary and elegant. It was refurbished in 2019, keeping the finish right to the highest level. There are 28 standard cabins, two Junior Suites and two Presidential Suites. The Standard Cabins between 14.2 and 16.5sqm, and come with Nile views and an ensuite bathroom with a private shower and bathtub. The larger Junior Suites at 21.3sqm and have circular windows with better views. The Presidential Suites are an ample 42.4sqm and have private balconies. The cabins are kitted out with all the mod-cons: air-conditioning, hairdryer, minibar and LCD television.
The Sanctuary Nile Adventurer has a lovely sun-deck and small swimming and adjoining outdoor bar. The heated pool is welcome luxury on Nile cruises from December to February, when it is somewhat colder. Here, they also lay on outdoor barbecues. The restaurant is located on the main deck and serves a buffet breakfast and lunch, afternoon tea and an al la carte dinner. All meals are included in the price, but drinks from their extensive wine menu are at an extra cost. All the guided tours of the main sights are included.
Also on board is a massage room and outdoor exercise machines. You are looked after by some of Egypt’s best Egyptologists using luxury vehicles, with entrance fees included. Also on your cruise, the Sanctuary Nile Adventurer lays on some events. This includes a galabeya party where guests can dress up in traditional Egyptian dress for the evening. Also on offer is a lecture from one of their Egyptologists, a cooking demonstration and a Folkloric show accompanied by a whirling dervish. In short, the Nile Adventurer offers an elegant, refined experience.
