Raas

Raas is located in the heart of the ‘Blue City’ of Jodhpur, yet is a peaceful haven from which to explore it bustling and vibrant alleyways and markets. The architects restored the old haveli, and used traditional blue and sandstone blocks to complement the old with new luxurious rooms. In the central courtyard you find the swimming pool and the two superb restaurants.

Alongside three rooms which are located in the original haveli, they have added three new accommodation blocks, many of which have views over the fort except the four Garden Rooms which each have a walled garden. The rooms blend old and new perfectly, with sleek and stylish design touches, custom rosewood furniture and shiny black terazzo flooring. Light, spacious and sophisticated, these rooms wouldn’t look out of place in Milan. The top Heritage Suites in the original Haveli are slightly more traditional, and you can even sit in your bath, and look at the mirror which is perfectly aligned to give a view of the fort! The Luxury Rooms are great, complete with amazing views from a small private balcony. The Duplex Suites are set over two-stories and have a larger balcony with the best views of the fort. All bathrooms have a separate bath tub and shower and come with all the comforts you would expect of a luxury boutique hotel.
