Small, boutique and charming, Khem Villas is a delightful and affordable eco-friendly retreat located beside Ranthambore National Park in India.

Set within 20 acres of verdant gardens complete with frangipani, roses and lavender, Khem Villas is a boutique hotel complete with rooms, tents and cottages. The main building contains the rooms, but we really suggest opting for the gorgeous cottages which look out over the fields beyond the lodge. You get your own private porch to look out, and the rooms themselves are stylishly furnished using block-printed linens and feature large sandstone bathrooms with walk-in rainforest showers. At the back you have your own courtyard with twin-loungers and outdoor shower. We also love the Luxury Tents, a little simpler than the Cottages but are more than comfortable for a few nights.
The food is all vegetarian, and mostly home-grown. Set-meals are prepared in the dining room and blend international and Indian cuisine.
