Cycling the Pho Chhu River
We can tailor a cycling experience up the Pho Chhu River in Punakaha depending on how much you want to cover. You begin at Punakha Dzong and taking the rocky path up to the mountain ridge. You keep the Pho Chhu on your right hand side, and the path can be a little difficult so you might have to get off the push your bike for a while. The path flattens out as you head into the forests. Stop by the river for some refreshments before continuing to the village of Tempakha which is surrounded by lush green paddy-fields. Cross the river on a suspension bridge and take the dirt track back to the Dzong.
