The main house at Talayar has a very convivial atmosphere, conducive to converstaion with fellow guests in the great room, cigar room or over dinner. An outside terrace provides the perfect spot for taking (home-grown) afternoon tea. Spend your time at Talayar enjoying the cool air, inspecting the nearby tea estates, and visiting the Tea Manufacturing Workshop where you can chat with the tea-pickers, learn which leaves to pluck and even prepare your very own tea to take home. If you are a keen walker or wildlife enthusiast, Eravikulam National Park is right on your doorstep.
