Ramathra Fort perfectly links Agra and Ranthambore National Park and is fantastically perched on a hilltop overlooking the surrounding countryside. Some of the rooms in the fort have been converted as bedrooms, and there are also six delightful tents on the central lawn. The views are spell-binding. The suites are tastefully designed using local Rajput linens and local teak furniture. The Luxury Suites have terraces, and outdoor tub and rain-shower. The Deluxe Suites open out onto the courtyard and a shared portico. The tents come with en-suite bathrooms with tiled showers. Meals are either taken outside al fresco or in the main dining room. There are a multitude of activities to see and do around Ramathra, such as taking a boat out on Lake Kalisil, heading out on a jeep safari through local villages or a leisurely cycle ride.
