Tang Valley

The Tang Valley is the most off-the-beaten-track destination around Bumthang, and it is known for its sheep and buckwheat (which dramatically flowers in October). Visit the Burning Lake and Ogyen Cholling Palace as well as seeing remote communities and farms untouched by time. We generally say a visit to the Tang Valley takes a full day.
