Aditya is one of the newest additions to the growing collection of boutique hotels on Sri Lanka’s south coast around Galle. This property is located in between Galle and Hikkaduwa giving easy access to the charming streets of the Fort as well as offering a peaceful beach retreat with uninterrupted ocean views. There are 6 Shanthi Suites which open out onto the garden, 5 Sagara Suites which have beautiful Indian Ocean views and the huge 2 storey Surya Suite which works well for families. If you get tired of sunbathing and swimming in the pool, enjoy a bike ride around the nearby paddy fields, head to Hikkaduwa for watersports or Ambalangoda for a lesson in traditional mask making or to shop for original antiques.
Millis Potter Insight
With its fresh style and chic design, Aditya is ideal for anyone looking for a small, modern beachfront hotel. It is the perfect place to lounge by the pool whilst listening to the crashing waves – as the sea can be a bit too rough to swim in – and catch up on some sunbathing. The service is really excellent with great attention to detail paid to all aspects and the staff are on hand to help arrange activities in the local area. A special mention must be given to the food which covers a large selection of cuisines and having a private dinner set up on the beach is really special. You can be as active or as relaxed as you want during your stay, with lots of cultural highlights to explore nearby, but mostly Aditya is perfect for kicking back and doing not very much at all.
