Wildlife Safaris in Kabini National Park

Wildlife safaris into Kabini can either be done on 4×4 jeep safari, or by boat. You can also take a nature walk along the banks of the Kabini River. Kabini is famous for wild elephant, especially during the summer months when they are drawn to the river to cool off. The park is also home to a myriad of herbivores; chital, sambar and guar to name but a few, and this has meant there are a healthy population of tiger and leopard, although the thick undergrowth mean that they are sighted about once a week. There are over 300 species of birdlife in the park.
