Gal Oya is one of Sri Lanka’s best-kept secrets, a park that sees relatively few tourists and comprises Sri Lanka’s largest inland body of water, a perfect draw for a diverse range fauna and birdlife. Safaris can be conducted by boat, with the biggest attraction being elephants swimming from island to island.
