This Farm to Table experience brings together a snapshot of local life in Morocco with a foodie twist. Coming from all the Berber villages in the region, vendors of all kinds descend on the small town of Et Tnine to create a microcosmic souk city.
Each in its own little area of the market, you’ll find everything from livestock auctioneers, rug sellers, vegetables, the butcher’s section (not for the faint-hearted!), clothing, a veritable village of barber’s stalls, healers, and the very best food stalls cooking up a storm of tagines, spicy sardine cakes, chickpea soups, BBQ skewers to name a few. We’ll do some purchasing and take our fresh produce onwards to meet a local Berber family and partake in a very local experience of cooking and dining in their home with traditional adobe architecture, all with the back-drop view of the Atlas Mountains.
